Twitter users in France can now tweet money
#TweetingMoney. Is this the future of financial transactions? Twitter will surely hope so after announcing that its users in France can now transfer money to anyone in the country with a twitter handle. The announcement will come as a coup for Twitter, which has stolen a march on its much larger rival Facebook in the race to add e-commerce to its interface. It is as yet unknown whether these transactions will remain private, or how twitter intends to keep transactions safe. Twitter has partnered with the San Francisco based payments start-up Stripe, which has become extremely popular with e-commerce companies in recent years, to deliver the service.
